Office of Military Affairs and Services Virtual 1M, 5K, and 10K

November 1 through November 30, 2024

Saint Leo University’s Office of Military Affairs and Services is hosting the 2nd Annual Virtual 1-mile, 5K, and 10K race to support the Saint Leo University Military Excellence Fund for Veteran and military-affiliated learners. We invite participants to run, walk, or jog 1-mile, a 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) distance at your own pace and place anytime from November 1 - 30, 2024.

Registrants will receive a Virtual 1-mile, 5K, and 10K t-shirt and finisher medal. Local participants will be able to pick up their medal and t-shirt at the Student Activities Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., after November 30. Individuals who join us from afar, will receive their medal and t-shirt through the mail in early December.

This virtual race is open to all Saint Leo University students, faculty, staff, families, and community members. For individuals close to campus, join Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Anthony DeSantis to walk, jog, or run your selected miles on November 4, November 18, or November 25 at 5:30 p.m. (EST), meeting at the Student Activities Building Clock Tower. Individuals can also join Dr, DeSantis and Saint Leo University ROTC for an in-person run/walk on Monday, November 11 at 6:30 a.m. on Veterans Day!

Cost for 1-Mile = $30

Cost for 5K (3.1 miles) = $45

Cost for 10K (6.2 miles)  = $55
