Military Education Excellence

Saint Leo has a long history of educating active-duty military, veterans, and their families.

In 1973, Saint Leo began offering classes on military bases, and our military supportive approach continues to remain strong.

How Saint Leo supports Military Education Excellence:

  • Understanding that military work schedules are not 40-hour-a-week jobs. Our faculty members work with active-duty military students to accommodate the many demands on their time.
  • Assisting military veterans in making the transition to civilian life though the Office of Veteran Student Services.
  • Creating a Veteran Student Emergency Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance for veterans. This program is unique in higher education and ensures that veterans can continue their education even when real-life crises occur.
  • Offering U.S. Army and U.S Air Force ROTC programs at University Campus. Cadets receive training that prepares them to be commissioned as second lieutenants upon graduation.
