Scholarships

Endowed scholarships stipulate your gift will be invested and the principal will remain intact. An endowed gift of $25,000 or more creates a named scholarship fund which will provide important financial assistance to Saint Leo students. Each year a percentage of the interest earned on the endowment is awarded as scholarship support for a specific student.

Annually funded scholarships are funded each year by friends and alumni. The impact of an annual scholarship is immediate, meaning the funds are disbursed to the student recipient in the same fiscal year as they are received. As an annual scholarship donor, you can specify the scholarship name and criteria. Annual scholarships may be established with an outright gift of $2,500 or more. It is recommended it be continued for a minimum of five years.

We are proud to acknowledge those donors who have established the privately funded scholarships listed in the link below and thank them once again for the opportunities they have provided for Saint Leo students. If you are interested in finding out how you can contribute to an existing scholarship fund or establish a new one, you may contact the Development Office by phone at (352) 588-8450 or by email at development@saintleo.edu to learn more about setting up a new scholarship.
