For 27 years, alumna Paige Ramsey-Hamacher '04 has been an invaluable member of the Saint Leo University community, dedicating her time and expertise to shaping the academic landscape of the institution. Currently serving as the executive director and Primary Designated School Official (PDSO)/ Responsible Officer (RO) for the Center for Global Engagement, Ramsey-Hamacher's journey at Saint Leo has been one of continuous growth and unwavering commitment.
Ramsey-Hamacher's connection to Saint Leo runs deep, as she is an alumna of the university herself. In 2004, she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, equipping her with a solid foundation of business knowledge and management skills. Armed with her qualifications, she embarked on a career path that would allow her to contribute to the very institution that had shaped her.
Throughout her tenure at Saint Leo University, Ramsey-Hamacher has demonstrated a passion for global engagement and cultural understanding. As the executive director of the Center for Global Engagement, she plays a pivotal role in promoting international programs, study abroad opportunities, and intercultural exchanges for students and faculty members. Her leadership has enabled countless individuals to broaden their horizons, gain a global perspective, and engage with diverse cultures, ultimately enriching their educational experiences.
"I am truly grateful to be a part of the Saint Leo family. It's a privilege to contribute in any way that makes a positive difference in the lives of students and others,” she says.
Ramsey-Hamacher's impact at Saint Leo extends beyond her professional accomplishments. Her daughter, Kylie, followed in her mother's footsteps and attended Saint Leo University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology-clinical and counseling in 2022. As an alumna and mother, Ramsey-Hamacher couldn't be prouder of her daughter's achievements. In fact, she beams with pride as Kylie not only pursues her passion but takes it a step further by enrolling in the Master of Social Work Program at Saint Leo University.

Currently, Kylie is making a significant impact herself, finishing up her internship with Spring Gardens Recovery in Spring Hill, FL, where she assists those who are on the journey of overcoming addiction. This shared commitment to helping others underscores the profound influence of the Ramsey-Hamacher family within the Saint Leo community and beyond.
Kylie's dedication to her studies is evident in her accomplishments as she has been a certified veterinary assistant for the past five years. Combining her love for psychology and animals, Kylie aspires to merge these two areas by working with animals as therapy companions for children suffering from mental trauma. Her long-term goal is to establish her own private practice specializing in pediatric grief and trauma therapy.
With a shared commitment to education and a deep desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others, Paige Ramsey-Hamacher and her daughter, Kylie, embody the spirit of Saint Leo University. Their dedication, passion, and determination serve as an inspiration to the entire community, demonstrating the transformative power of education and the potential to create change in the world.
